Prohibited Sources
We do NOT accept codes from:

- Fraudulent or unauthorized discount codes
2. Testing Methodology
Manual Verification Process
Every coupon undergoes manual testing before publication:

Re-Testing Schedule
- Daily: All "Featured" and high-traffic coupons
- Weekly: All verified coupons without expiration dates
- As Needed: Any code with user-reported issues
- Immediately: When success rate drops below 70%
3. "Verified" Badge Criteria
A coupon receives our "Verified" badge only when it meets ALL of these criteria:
Manually tested by our editorial team within the last 7 days
Works correctly on the retailer's website at checkout
Discount amount matches the stated offer exactly
Not expired or has a future expiration date
User success rate above 70% (if applicable)
Note: Verified badges are removed automatically if a code expires, success rate falls below 70%, or manual re-testing fails.
4. Content Quality Standards

- All discount amounts must be verified and accurate
- Expiration dates must be confirmed with the retailer
- Terms and conditions must be clearly stated
- Store descriptions must be factual and unbiased
- Expert tips must be based on observed patterns or official retailer information
Writing Guidelines
- Use clear, concise language accessible to all users
- Avoid exaggeration or misleading claims
- Write from user perspective: "How does this help shoppers?"
- Include specific details (dates, amounts, restrictions)
- Update content regularly to maintain freshness
Prohibited Content
- False or misleading discount claims
- Plagiarized content from other websites
- AI-generated content without human review and verification
- Affiliate links disguised as editorial recommendations
- Personal attacks or biased reviews
5. Conflict of Interest Policy
Affiliate Relationships: CouponTak earns commissions through affiliate partnerships. However, editorial decisions are made independently and are never influenced by commission rates or retailer preferences.
Paid Placements: We do not accept payment to feature specific coupons more prominently, suppress negative feedback, or guarantee positive coverage.
Sponsored Content: Any sponsored or paid content is clearly labeled as "Sponsored," "Advertisement," or "Partner Content."
Editorial Independence: Our editorial team operates independently from our business development and sales teams. Editors cannot be influenced by potential revenue.
6. User Feedback & Ratings
Rating System
- All user ratings are anonymous and voluntary
- We do not manipulate, filter, or suppress genuine user feedback
- Ratings are monitored for spam or fake reviews

Success Tracking
